Sugar, Spice and all Things Nice: A Review of Sweet Little Things

Our Lifestyle Editor Emily was invited to review Sweet Little Things… on her 22nd birthday, no less!

If, like me, you are a self-confessed diva then Sweet Little Things is where you need to be. Pictures really do tell a thousand words, but if you can’t already see, Sweet Little Things is a flowery and beautiful little café right in the heart of Bath. In the nicest possible way, the whole place looks as though a fairy has sneezed all over it… it could not be any more extra or pink!

While any day of the week warrants a trip to the most extra café in town, I must say that it is the perfect place to go on a birthday or another celebration! In the downstairs room, there is even a flower-adorned swing and hand-painted angel wings which you can take pictures in front of! The team is really lovely too, living up to the café’s feel-good vibe.

Serving brunch, lunch and a selection of afternoon teas, as well as lovely coffees and cakes, you can see their reasonably-priced menu here: https://www.sltbath.co.uk/menu. We tried the vegan breakfast and mushrooms on toast (both pictured) which were lovely. Even the mimosas are decorated with little flowers! But the stand-out dish was the buttermilk pancakes with blueberry compote, banana and maple syrup. Although they were mighty huge, they were also very light and fluffy, and uber delicious!

They even do bespoke celebration cakes and brownie boxes too, mmmmmm! Check them out on Instagram @sltbath for even more pink and flowery goodness!
