Christmas is approaching and what could be better to include a festive twist than upgrading your classic brownie recipe! The combination of spices adds a subtle winter warmth to a rich, delicious, gooey brownie.
Ingredients:
- 200g unsalted butter
- 250g light brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 275g plain four
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 200-300g white chocolate
Method:
- Pre-heat oven to 180℃/160℃ fan.
- Grease and line a 9inch square tin
- Melt butter then beat with sugar until smooth
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined
- Add in dry ingredients so that the mixture becomes thick
- Break up the white chocolate into small pieces and add
- Transfer the mixture into prepared tin
- Bake for 25 minutes
