BREAKING NEWS: Potential Coronavirus Case at the University of Bath

Yesterday (Monday 10thFebruary) it was confirmed that a person at the University of Bath (rumored to be a member of staff) is being tested for Coronavirus. The university has said it is ‘working closely with Public Health England and will continue to monitor the situation and support this individual’, who is currently in self-isolation. This morning, it was revealed that the university has mobilized an emergency planning team to ‘ensure that we have appropriate procedures and arrangements in place.’

We wish that person in self-isolation a speedy recovery, and hope that the university continues to support them while keeping the student body aware of any new developments in the situation.

More updates will follow as we receive more information.
